Came with the house. I have no complaints about the oven. Works great and temp is perfect, but the stove top is so hot. I turn the temp to low and everything still boils. I don™€™t know how that can be remedied. Maybe it™€™s just the gas but I don™€™t remember having this issue with last gas stove.

The quality of products that were used on the exterior of the stove are inferior. Burners discolored quickly and the stainless steel control panel was nicked when I barely touched if when replacing the cooking grate after cleaning it. Also the interior of the oven & racks also discolored easily even after careful cleaning after each use. I should not have to clean this hard after minimal use.

My builder bought this unit and it is s joke. The gas pressure is so high that you really have no option but a medium to medium high flame. The first time we used the oven the unit had some coating inside that set off 10 alarms in the house that ran for several minutes. I'm afraid to use it for the 2nd time! Buy another brand or if it must be Whirlpool, upgrade signifcantly.

I have had the range for a month and it is still not working. So far, two visits by a licensed technician referred by Whirlpool and parts have been installed both times and it still is not functioning properly. The gas range will not maintain temperature, once it has been pre-heated. The gas range will not re-light to maintain temperature L.

Having just moved less than a month ago I have only used my oven three times. The times that I've used it I've had the same problem. I preheat the oven And sometimes it stops right in the middle of the preheat. Add other times once it's preheated I put the food in And put the timer on At sometimes during the cooking stage The oven shuts down. Therefore I am constantly watching it And when shuts down I turned it on again. It's very frustrating. It took me two hours to cook three batches of cookies with a 10 minute cooking time. SomeoneNeeds to fix this thing Before I buy a toaster oven.

Bought the stove about 2 months ago. I do like it a lot. Was a bit concerned with the grates on top but have found out they aren't too heavy to move around easily and clean up has been easy. Wish the timer button woulld beep longer announcing that the food is finished. Seems to only ring once. More reminders are sometimes needed.

Cook top issue!

The range works well. Only strike against it is the cook top. The shiny black enamel top has two small dull spots on it. My previous Whirlpool range (very similar to the above but with 5 burners and a convection oven) had the exact same issue. It was also registered with Whirlpool. There were several dull spots on shiny enamel. Not sure if it's an engineering issue (paint can't withstand hot food spill)? Can these spots be made shiny again? I have a photo but not sure how to attach it.
